Your fingerprints upon my hand.   Your words are my window

These tears on my cheek.  Your calling; my deathblow

You send me journeying where I don’t want to go

Make me hungry for what I do not know 

In uncharted waters, life is not my own

In the shadowed passage, I am not alone

Hope is forever where you are

Forever where you are

This soul is now set aside, a temple for devotion

Forgive me for the wasted years of self-veneration

For all the glory, the majesty, power to You

You are all in all, so faithful and true

Past my careful planning, beyond my view

In the unknown future, there I find You

For you have lived this day.

Your love upon my life; You stand at my shoulder

You lead me trembling to places I cannot see
