Central alberta homeschool choir

Every fall, the Central Alberta Homeschool Choir meets for regular rehearsal in preparation for a concert weekend in December.  In addition to all the musical learning that takes place, the choir is a place for homeschool students to meet and build friendships.  The repertoire is typically sacred Christmas and worship music. The proceeds of the concerts, through free will offering, go to support the Christian Life Orphanage Centre, a home for former street boys, in Mwanza, Tanzania.  Over the past several years, we have been joined by Rosedale Valley String Orchestra for these concerts. Concerts are held in three locations in central Alberta.

Senior Choir is for students ages 12 through 18.  No previous singing experience is necessary.

Rehearsals take place in Lacombe and Camrose.

Registration takes place in August.
